Q and A: Lifting When You Have Kids

(Note from Jim McD: Having some equipment at home really helps if you have tiny kids, even if it’s just some dumbbells. My oldest son’s bedroom had a bench press in it when he was a baby. Set some goals that are reasonable and realize you may have to get your workouts in an exercise at a time during the week. Trade some time watching the kid(s) with the wife/baby mama so she can get a break out of the house and you can get a break at the gym. Realize it doesn’t stay crazy forever.)
